Child Psychotherapy (Ages 4 - 12)

Children often communicate through play, movement, imagination, and behaviour. In our sessions, I use creative and developmentally-sensitive approaches to help children make sense of their feelings and experiences and relationships.

Common reasons families seek support for their children include:

  • anxiety, worry, or low confidence
  • emotional dysregulation and big feelings
  • Sensory processing issues or neurodiversity (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
  • trauma or early developmental disruption
  • adoption-related experiences and attachment challenges
  • school difficulties, friendships, or behavioural changes
  • grief, loss, or transition

My therapeutic approach is grounded in relational, attachment-based and trauma-informed principles. I work creatively and intuitively, integrating play, story, embodiment, and reflective dialogue depending on the developmental needs of each child.

I understand how trauma, neurodiversity, and attachment disruption can affect children and family systems. continues to inform my compassion, and clinical insight.

I believe every child has the capacity for connection, resilience, and growth when they feel truly seen. It's a privilege to accompany families on that journey.

Sessions are paced sensitively and grounded in developmental understanding. I work closely with parents/carers to support connection and attunement at home.
